| One of the oldest and most useful natural cosmetic and medicines, the lemon plant was originally a native of south-eastern Asia until brought to the Mediterranean by Arabs 1000 years ago. Lemon oil has a wonderful toning effect, mild deodorant properties and provides a gentle exfoliant action. Lemon oil may be used undiluted on the skin to treat insect bites but it may sting. | |
