WAYS TO USE ESSENTIAL OILS

Add a few drops of essential oil to a small piece of cloth and toss into the cloth dryer while drying.
Add 4-6 drops of essential oil to unscented fabric softener or in the wash water.
Add a few drops of essential oil to potpourri which has lost its scent.
Add a few drops of oil to water in a spray bottle, shake before each use, and use as a room freshener.
Place a few drops of essential oil in a pan of water and simmer on stove top.
Place a few drops of essential oil in a "Aroma-ring" diffuser and place atop a light bulb.
Add a few drops of oil to water placed into a potpourri pot.
Buy unscented candles, such as tea lights and carefully add a few drops of oil into the melted wax while the candle burns. (Use caution as oils are flammable.)
To rid the kitchen of cooking odors, add a few drops of Cinnamon or Clove oil to a pan of water and simmer on the stove top.
For headache, rub a drop of Lavender oil on the back of your neck.
To repel mice, place a few drops of Peppermint essential oil on a cotton ball and place them in problem areas. (Make sure to place out of the reach of children and pets. Make sure not to place on a surface that may be damaged by the EO).
Add a few drops of essential oil to the wash water when hand washing lingerie or other handwashables.
Add a few drops of essential oil into dried and silk flower arrangements and wreaths.
To rid yourself of a wart, try applying a single drop of Lemon essential oil directly onto the wart daily.
Smelly shoes? Add a few drops of Lemon oil onto a cotton ball and place into shoes.
Want to freshen the air while you vacuum?? Add a few drops of essential oil onto a cotton ball, (make sure it is small enough that it won’t plug the vacuum hose), and vacuum the ball into the filter bag. You could also add the oil to a tablespoon of baking soda and vacuum the mixture into the filter bag.
Anise oil has been used by fishermen for many years to camofloge human scent. It is also thought to be a fish attractant. Add a single drop to your finger tips and hands, add a little water and rub. You may also fill a small spray bottle with anise oil and water. Just shake before using and spray onto hands, bait, and tackle.
To help with fever, sponge the body with cool water to which a drop of Eucalyptus, Peppermint and Lavender essential oils have been added.
Infuse stationary with essential oils by placing drops of oil on paper and putting them in a sealed plastic bag overnight.
Having trouble falling asleep? Add 1 or 2 drops of Lavender essential oil on a cotton ball or small piece of fabric and place next to your sleeping pillow.

Apply 1 to 2 drops of Lavender oil directly on cuts, scrapes or scratches to help promote healing.
To make a pet flea remedy add about 20 drops of lemongrass oil to 3 -4 ounces of mild, preferably unscented shampoo.
